MacDougall and Cameron: A Gathering of the Songwriting Clans. Stewart MacDougall and Bobby Cameron come together on piano and guitar to create a distinctive duo rooted in song and storytelling. Both draw on their Maritime heritage, blending Celtic, folk, and blues influences, with Stewart adding traditional country and Bobby bringing a roots-rock edge. Stewart, a masterful pianist with a rich baritone voice, has songs recorded by k.d. lang, Ian Tyson, and Randy Travis, and has toured and performed with both k.d. lang and Ian Tyson. Bobby, a MuchMusic Guitar Warz winner with gold and platinum songwriting credits with Jully Black and Canadian Idol winner Ryan Malcolm, delivers powerful, soulful vocals and has toured internationally with the late blues legend Long John Baldry.
