Formerly known as Oh Susanna, Suzie Ungerleider has evolved from an artist who wrote melodies inspired by Americana, to writing songs that allow her to look closely at who she was before she took on that persona. Suzie now realizes that the character who gave her the courage to climb onstage and reveal what is in her heart is no longer needed; she is now sharing the music that is inside of her and not that of an alter ego. Perhaps she is leaving the character behind, but Suzie Ungerleider remains an exciting, dark, funny, charming performer who weaves magic with the music that she makes.
